Aptly located next to a surf shop in downtown Carlsbad, the restaurant will focus heavily on sushi and other locally sourced meats, produce, and beverages from neighbors like Saint Archer Brewing. Formerly of Harney Sushi, Ruiz is a well-known advocate of sustainable seafood and local sourcing and writes a blog on the restaurant’s website to educate patrons about what’s going on in his kitchen.  2978 Carlsbad Boulevard
