]]> Debra and Bill Gershen and Henry Schubach hosted this complimentary reception, in partnership with Guide Dogs for the Blind. The afternoon featured light fare and a tour of Schubach Aviation’s fleet of private jets. Guide Dogs for the Blind currently has 12 families raising future guide dogs and 61 guide dogs working in the San Diego community.

]]> This unique photo exhibit and fundraiser raised more than $325,000 for San Diego Senior Community Centers. Actress Marion Ross from Happy Days served as emcee for the evening. The photo exhibit showcased portraits of local seniors, who wrote notes of wisdom and life lessons learned, meant to be passed on to the next generation. The notes were displayed beside their pictures. Proceeds will benefit the SCC and its efforts to promote a positive portrayal of aging.
