For our not-so-scientific compilation of the best places and activities of 2013, we personally tested sustainable sushi and vitamin injections, pestered our northerly-residing co-workers, grilled the NoCo natives, and did recon on upcoming neighborhood developments—all to bring you the best of the best from the region north of SR-56, with an admittedly heavy emphasis on the coastal communities (just too many Applebee’s inland), and a highlight of what’s new. Plus: Plenty of kids, dogs, spa treatments, strip malls, and yoga thrown in between, of course—because it wouldn’t be NoCo without them!
